New this fall: a monthly Irish Fiddle Workshop Series. Come learn a tune by ear, add bowing and ornamentation, and play it together with a small group. Historical and musical background will be offered with the tunes. Recordings will be listened to. Supplementary material will be offered. Great fun will be had! Prerequisits: knowledge of the D and G major scales. Meets Thursdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM on SEP 20th, OCT 25th, NOV 8th, and DEC 6th. $60 for all or $20 for drop in.
